Without any special painting process, this new technology enables to achieve “overwhelming blackness” with a light absorption rate of 99.8% or more, by transferring the fine pattern applied on the mold surface to the product surface.
With this technology, post-porcess such as painting or coating can be eliminated, which can also contribute to reduce manufacturing process and environmental load.
For the award, both the possibility of lessen environmental load and improving the manufacturing process were evaluated.
This award is sponsored by the Shikoku Regional Innovation Creation Council, and aims to recognize companies that have contributed to the development of industrial technology in the Shikoku region in Japan, to encourage the advancement of the industrial technology of the region.
